THE COLLINGWOOD LAWN BOWLING CLUB WOULD LIKE TO GIVE YOUR CLUB THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE A SUPER EXPERIENCE
We provide a social atmosphere where you can get exercise on our beautiful manicured lawn.
We loan you the bowls, set up the Green for you, and give you a short lesson.
COST
We initially charge $10.00 per person. This is for the loan of your bowls, pregame lesson, green that will be prepared for you, and the supervision of the game in play.

We can provide
DRINK AND SNACK… We will provide a cold drink and a snack (you may sit at the picnic tables and socialize) for $2.00
OR
A LIGHT MEAL… Hamburger or make your own sandwich (select cold cuts) & cheeses, potato salad, tossed salad and a delicious dessert for $25.00

With the second highest proportion of seniors amongst sub-regions in Ontario (27%) the South Georgian Bay area is fortunate to have a plethora of options which support staying active. The scientific evidence is clear that a higher level of physical activity is associated with reduced risk for many illnesses as well as an increased sense of well-being. As such, I applaud the initiative of Norma Gee, president of the Collingwood Lawn Bowl Club, who is introducing a new program designed to increase accessibility and fun while encouraging participation in a well established local sporting tradition. I know many of our local seniors will benefit from the social interaction as well as the physical activity involved
